Oh Christmas Tree

Dec 29, 10:45 AM

We didn’t do a real tree year this year, or even the fake one from the shed. Instead I copied an idea from a blog that I follow. I followed the links in the post the picture. Saved the picture on a flash drive and took it to Office Depot. The lady in the print department printed it right then for about $20. It took about 5 minutes. We used poster hangers that Chris bought a few years ago to hang some posters in his office. He look one of his work posters down for a few weeks so that we could hang our tree.

We decorated it with glittery snowflakes and glittery stars with a beaded star for the top. We used removable tape to stick them on and it came off really nicely without messing up the print when we took it down yesterday.

We may buy another set of poster hangers so that we don’t have to take a poster down to put the tree up again next year. Also, I think that I would like “ornaments” with more color.

(Also, we printed ours in color rather than black and white and then coloring on it with crayons as the person with the “original” idea did. That’s why it was $20 instead of $5 but it saved a lot of time.)
